Water tower

Water tower

The building, now called the tower, is an important symbol located in the center of the town of Chiaravalle, almost marking the direct line of Corso Matteotti with the War Memorial. The first aqueduct was built in 1905 based on a design by engineers Argnani and Piccioni, drawn up in 1903. The water came from an Esino aquifer via an 8-meter-deep well. The tower's functionality was expanded in 1952, making it essential for further population growth and the damage suffered during the war. The expansion project was drawn up by engineer. Giorgetti and allowed an adequate water supply to the Municipality until the years ‘60.
